Luke Russert is an American author and correspondent working at MS Now. He serves as the co-host of The Weeknight, airing on weekdays at 7pm ET/4pm PT. He works alongside Michael Steele and Symone Sanders Townsend on the co-host role every weekday.

Education

Russert attended St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., where he graduated with a high school diploma in 2004. He then joined Boston College, where he graduated in 2008 with a double major in Communications and History. While Luke was in college, he worked for ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption. In addition, he also worked at XM Satellite Radio, where he co-hosted the sports talk program, 60/20 Sports, alongside James Carville for two years.

Later in February 2012, Russert joined NBC’s Dateline, and for his first broadcast, he examined the 1998 murder conviction of Jon-Adrian Velazquez.
