LuAnne Sorrell is an American anchor working for FOX 35 as an afternoon and night anchor. She joined the FOX 35 news team in 2012, after previously working for WSVN.
Minnesota is where Sorrell was born and brought up. She attended the University of Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. LuAnne started her career in journalism in Mankato, Minnesota where she worked at KEYC-TV as a one-man band anchoring everything. In addition, she has also worked at KLAS-TV the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada where she served as a reporter.
In addition, after having worked in Las Vegas for 5 years, Sorrell relocated to South Florida where she joined WSVN-TV in Miami. LuAnne joined FOX 35’s Good Day Orlando show as a reporter and anchor. Not long after, she started serving as an anchor of the afternoon and night show.
