Lori Wilson is an American two-time Emmy award-winning anchor working for WSB-TV as a weekday morning anchor from 4:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. She joined the WSB team in January 2017, as an anchor and reporter after working at WISH-TV.
While working at WSB, Wilson has covered everything from the coronavirus pandemic to Hurricane Irma to the passing of several legendary civil rights leaders in Atlanta. A moment that Lori can clearly recall was when she covered protests in Atlanta following the death of George Floyd. In addition, for Wilson’s anchoring and reporting skills, she was awarded an Emmy award. She attended Indiana University Bloomington where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Prior to joining WSB, she worked in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Indianapolis, Philadelphia for WISH-TV.
