Colorado is her native home and after graduating from Green Mountain High School, she joined the University of Colorado where she graduated with a bachelor of science in Broadcast Journalism. While serving as a meteorologist, she has worked all over the state from Colorado Springs to Grand Junction, and did a brief stint at a station in Las Vegas.
During her downtime, she enjoys running, knitting, and reading. She has also completed three marathons including most recently the Denver Marathon in 2017.
