Lina deFlorias is an American anchor working for FOX 26 as a co-anchor of the morning newscast alongside Sally MacDonald. He joined FOX 26 in September 2018, after previously working for KTVK.
deFlorias attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and journalism in 2010. During her junior year at Arizona State University, she represented her home state at the Miss USA Pageant. After having graduated, Lina began her news career on the Gulf Coast in Pensacola, Florida at ABC 3 as the co-anchor of the morning newscast for 5 years.
Later on, deFlorias worked at ABC 3 for almost two years and while she was at the station, she served as a morning anchor and evening anchor. Prior to joining FOX 23, deFlorias worked in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona at KTVK 3TV/KPHO CBS 5 and while she was there, she served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter for 3 years. In addition, she has covered immigration controversy in Arizona, tropical storms in Florida, and broken the sound barrier flying with the Blue Angels. During her spare time, she enjoys running, listening to music, and trying out new foods.
