Rutledge hails from St. Petersburg, Florida, and attended Celebration High School located in Celebration, Florida. In addition, she is an American beauty pageant titleholder who earned the distinction of being crowned Miss Florida in the year July 7, 2012. Where she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Kristina Janolo. Specializing in ballet, she showcased her talent in the beauty pageant competitions. A graduate of the University of Florida with a major in broadcast journalism, she was actively involved as a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Currently, she is employed by ESPN and is prominently featured in various shows, including the college football pre-game show on the SEC Network called SEC Nation, as well as NFL Live. Initially, she worked for Fox Sports as a sideline reporter, where she covered Fox broadcasts of Tampa Bay Rays games and later San Diego Padres games. Additionally, she provided on-field reporting for Fox College Sports during the National Collegiate Paintball Association’s 2012 National Paintball Championship in Lakeland, Florida. she made the transition to ESPN and the SEC Network in the summer of 2014.

In 2014, she took on the role of hosting the Coors Light PostGame show on Fox College Football and handled halftime programming for FSN college football games. Moreover, she also served as the host for Chargers Insider for the San Diego Chargers in 2013 and SD Live. Notably, she both produced and hosted SDLive, an original show she initiated at Fox Sports San Diego. On May 16, 2017, she was appointed as the host of SEC Nation on the SEC Network. Later, on August 17, 2020, she assumed the role of host for “NFL Live,” ESPN’s premier NFL show.
