Kylee Miller Biography
Kylee Miller is an American Emmy-winning meteorologist working for CBS Detroit as a weekly meteorologist. She joined the CBS Detroit team in November 2021, after previously working for Fox Carolina.
Miller was brought up in Milan, Michigan and she attended Eastern Michigan University during her junior and senior years of high school graduating high school and graduating with an associate’s degree in 2013. Later on, she joined Central Michigan University where she graduated in 2016, with a Bachelor’s in Meteorology, a minor in math, and an emphasis in broadcasting. In addition, the American Meteorological Society certified Kylee as a Broadcast Meteorologist.
The Regional Southeast Emmy Chapter awarded Miller an Emmy award for covering a Tornado Aftermath. For covering the fatal flooding aftermath in Carolinas, Kylee was nominated for an Emmy award. In addition, The Michigan Association of Broadcasters awarded Miller the Midwest Communications, INC. broadcasting scholarship. Kylee lectures meteorology labs at Eastern Michigan University and she has been featured at EMU and CMU as she promoted their science curriculums.
Prior to joining CBS Detroit, Miller worked at Fox Carolina where she served as the morning meteorologist. Before working aft FOX Carolina, she worked in Saginaw/Flint where she was a local meteorologist. In addition, after Kylee completed her college education, she worked at WeatherNation as a National and Caribbean meteorologist. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, storm chasing, boating, and working out.
