Before moving on to the weather, Kyla worked as a reporter and anchor for TV news. She eventually made her way to The Weather Channel, where she joined the team that covered multiple tornado outbreaks in addition to Hurricanes Sandy and Isaac. She also produced weather updates for MSNBC and other NBC networks.
