Kimberly Hunt is an American twelve-time Emmy award-winning anchor who is currently working at ABC 10 where she served as an evening anchor on the 5, 6, 7, and 11 p.m newscasts.
Over the years, Hunt has covered; Hell Week with the Navy Seals, Cocaine of the Sea- How Cartels Pushed the World’s Smallest Whale to the Brink of Extinction, tracking Cartel Guns, and many others. For her work as an evening anchor, she has won the Best On-Air Talent award and for her story on Tracking the Mexican Mafia-Inside Donovan State Prison, she won the prestigious regional Edward R. Murrow Award. In addition, for her investigations into Open Air Brothels in San Diego’s canyons, she was awarded first place by The San Diego Press Club.
Furthermore, for her r special titled: Postcards From Home during the Persian Gulf War, she has been awarded a Golden Mic Award and also earned the Attorney General’s Crime Prevention Award.
