Kendall Tenney is an American Emmy award-winning host who is currently working at KLAS-TV where he serves as the co-host of Las Vegas Now alongside JC Fernandez and Mercedes Martinez. He joined the KLAS-TV team in January 2017.
Rockwall, Texas is his native home and he is 1994, relocated to Las Vegas where he started his journalism career at KIDK where he served as a bureau reporter and weekend anchor. After working for a year at KIDK, he relocated to Las Vegas where he worked at KVBC which is currently known as KSNV where he served as the anchor of the 4pm and 6pm newscasts for almost 15 years. Over the years, he has received local, regional and national awards inclusive of Emmy and Murrow awards. In addition, two times, he was named as one of Las Vegas’ favorite newscasters in local media polls. In 2015, he was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
He is well known in Southern Nevada for his contribution to the community and stories that affect children and education. Tenney launched a fundraiser called Run for a Wish in 2001, which has become the largest and highest-grossing annual fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. He launch 10e Media in 2010 after he left television news, which is a public relations firm that specializes in crisis management and media training.
