In 2006, Nash received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, located in Clemson, South Carolina and earned a Master’s in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. She had covered the Clemson baseball and soccer teams for the sports information department in exchange for a full athletic scholarship. In 2010, Nash received her Master’s degree in Television Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.

Along with hosting the NHL Network Studio, she can be seen on On The Fly, the nightly game recap show.
