Katie LaSalle is an American anchor, weather anchor, and reporter currently working at Denver7. She joined the Denver7 team in March 2016.
She was brought up in seven states including Canada. She spent so much of her life as a competitive skating figure before joining The University of Colorado in Boulder where she studied journalism. LaSalle began her broadcasting career at Plum TV in Aspen, Colorado. After the winter season, she relocated to Coos Bay, Oregon where she served as a multimedia journalist.
Later on, she relocated to Eugene where she also serves as a multimedia journalist. While she was in Eugene, she forecasted the varying Pacific Northwest weather and covered all storied stories ranging from housing issues to community events and politics, later on, she served as the evening news anchor.
In addition, she created a series called ExplOregon that captured a number of the amazing aspects of the state from skiing, horseback riding, and backpacking, to skydiving. She has explored Oregon and she is currently looking forward to numerous new adventures in Colorado. As of the moment, she serves as the co-host of Mile High Musts which airs on Denver7 in collaboration with 5280 Magazine. During her leisure time, she enjoys soaking in the beauty of each Colorado season, trying new restaurants, and hiking in the mountains.
