Kasey Reigner is an American meteorologist working for WTAE-TV as a weekend morning reporter from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. She joined the WTAE-TV news team in 2021, after previously working for WAND-TV.
Reigner earned her Meteorology and Atmospheric Science degree from Penn State University. Prior to joining WTAE in 2021, she worked at WAND, where she joined in May 2020. appeared on the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. weekend newscasts and noon and 4 p.m. Monday-Wednesday broadcasts. There, she rebranded and redesigned weather graphics within her first six months in the station, she provided live forecasts on-air and online on weekdays and weekend evenings, reported live in the field during primetime newscasts, and provided daily radio broadcasts for three different radio groups across central Illinois.
However, on September 8, 2021, WAND-TV announced that Kasey was leaving the station after 1 year of service, to join WTAE-TV, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in October 2023. Other stations that Kasey has worked for include, as an intern at WINK-TV and WGN, and as a meteorologist at WBRE WYOU. Her last day in Decatur was on September 28. During her spare time, Kasey enjoys working out, listening to music, and spending time with her family and pets.
