Kaitlin Sharkey is an American sports anchor, reporter, and host working for WGN-TV as an evening sports anchor and co-host of GN Sports. She joined the WGN-TV sports team in June 2022, after previously working for WFLD in Chicago for two years.
Wisconsin is Sharkey’s native home and she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she earned a degree in journalism. Later on, Kaitlin started her television career at the CBS affiliate WSAW in Wausau, Wisconsin. She then worked at the ABC affiliate WBAY in Green Bay and then joined WITI FOX6 in Milwaukee.
In addition, while Sharkey worked at WITI, her work as a sports anchor received recognition from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. Furthermore, during her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, spending time with her family, trying new workouts, checking out new restaurants, and reading.
