Justin Wilfon Biography

Justin Wilfon is an American anchor and reporter working for WSB as the weekend anchor of Tonight ad reporter during the weekdays. He joined the WSB team in September 2016, after previously working for KSHB. 

In 1999, Wilfon joined Southern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in radio and television in 2000. In 2001, he relocated to Yakima, Washington Area where he worked at KEPR 19 as an anchor and reporter for two years. Later on, she worked for WAVE 3 News in Louisville, Kentucky as a reporter till 2005 when he left the station. In addition, he has also worked for FOX 23 and KJRH as an anchor and reporter. From 2014 to 2016, he served as an anchor and reporter for KSHB.

Over the years, Justin has covered everything from the death of George Floyd to protests stemming from the terrible impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Georgia’s nursing homes. In addition, his most memorable moment while working at WSB-TV was unceasingly anchoring for a number of hours in the summer of 2020 when protests erupted at an Atlanta Wendy’s after police shot and killed Rayshard Brooks. Furthermore, Wilfon is involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a number of other organizations in the area.
