Justin Pazera is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor/reporter who is currently working at ABC15. He serves as the weekend evening news anchor and as a weekday reporter at 4,5 and 6 pm at the station. In addition, he joined the ABC 15 news team in 2015, as a general assignment reporter.
He has had almost twenty years of experience in journalism and during this time, he has covered everything from natural disasters, presidential campaigns, and sit-down interviews with some of the most influential figures in politics and entertainment. In addition, he serves as ABC15’s lead reporter on the high profile U.S. Senate race in Arizona in2018. Pazera also participated in the station’s extensive reporting on the Hacienda Healthcare controversy that made international headlines.
Previously, he worked at the CBS affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska where he served as an anchor and reporter. While he worked in Omaha, Nebraska, he broke a number of stories including the termination of four Omaha police officers caught on camera using excessive force.
In addition, he began his on-air career in Rapid City, South Dakota and his stories have taken him across the state and even landed him on the top of Mount Rushmore. For Pazera’s story exposing the extremely high suicide rates among children and youth on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, he was awarded an Emmy award. Justin attended Columbia College Chicago where he graduated proudly.
