Julian Del Gaudio Biography
Julian Del Gaudio is an American sports anchor working for FOX 5 as a weekend sports anchor. He joined the FOX 5 news team in July 2020.
Julian Del Gaudio Career
Prior to working in San Diego, Gaudio worked in Reno, Nevada where he worked for 5 years. While working in San Diego, he wears many hats including being a photographer, anchor, and multimedia journalist. He also played an important role in launching the area’s sports network, which was the first ever in the community.
He established himself as a traveling reporter who covered the University of Nevada while he worked at Nevada Sports Net and KRNV. He reported in almost 15 states and he was able to establish a following in the Mountain West Conference. In addition, he gained experience that not many in their 20s would get such as; bowl games, multiple Mountain West conference championships, NCAA Sweet 16 run, and coaches show.
Furthermore, Julian was among the few different specials that aired in the Northern Nevada community. He loves the outdoors and this was highlighted in the show “Exploring Our Backyard.” He has done everything including; scuba diving, flying a stunt plane, riding on horseback through the middle of the Nevada desert for five days, land sailing, herding 300 cattle for more than 90 miles, and skydiving. Gaudio fell in love with skiing and he has traveled to almost 10 different states.
The San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles is where Julian was born. His family has a mom-and-pop store which is located in the Pacoima, Del Gaudio’s Market, The Pacoima, Del Gaudio’s Market has been in the area for over 70 years. In addition, Del Gaudio attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated proudly. Despite the fact Gaudio is new to San Diego, he is not at all new to Southern California.
