Julia Lopez is an American Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter working for 3TV as a weekly sports anchor and reporter. She joined the 3TV team in November 2021, after previously working for KSEE24 and CBS47.
Albuquerque, New Mexico is Lopez’s native home and her love for sports began at a tender age as she would watch her dad who was a local sports anchor and reporter. She also loved attending a number of sporting events that her dad covered. Her dream came true and she has served as a sports anchor/reporter for more than ten years and has resided across the country inclusive of Fresno and Denver.
In addition, for 16 years, Julia has played soccer and assisted her high school team in landing a number of state championships. She was also an avid softball player while in high school and she loved patrolling the outfield as a center.
