Josh Frydman Biography
Josh Frydman is an Aamerican sports anchor and reporter working for WGN-TV as the co-host of Sports Feed, sports reporter, and fill-in anchor. He joined the CLTV team in October 2014.
Prior to joing WGN-TV, Frydman worked at KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he served as a sports anchor and reporter for over two years. Josh has also served as a sports anchor, reporter, and producer for NBC affiliate stations in Columbia, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee. Over the years, Frydman’s work has received recognition from; Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters, the Illinois Broadcasters Association, and Society of Professional Journalists.
Chicago is Frydman’s native home and he was brought up in north suburban Buffalo Grove. He attended Stevenson High School where he earned a diploma. Later on, Josh joined University of Missouri and while he was there, he served as the sports director of the campus television station MUTV. In addition, he also worked for a number of years at KOMU-TV, the local NBC affiliate owned and operated by the Missouri School of Journalism.
During Frydman’s free time, he enjoys reading laying tennis, exploring all the great food and entertainment options Chicago has to offer, and working out. Josh is also an active volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club, Junior Achievement, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters.
