Jordan Dressman Biography
Jordan Dressman is an American meteorologist working at FOX 54, where he serves as the chief meteorologist. He can be seen on-air broadcasting the weather from Monday to Friday at 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
Dressman joined the FOX 54 meteorology team in March of 2018. When he joined the station, he served as the weekend meteorologist before later being promoted in May of 2019 to the chief meteorologist position. Prior to Jordti’s time at FOX 54, he worked at KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a meteorologist for two years. During Dressman’s time at KMVT, he created, produced, and presented weather forecasts for a two-hour morning newscast. In addition, he also forecasted weather during the 12 pm newscast and filled in on weekend and weekday evening newscasts if needed.
Jordan is not a loser to his friends and family and is in an area with more active weather. St. Marys, Ohio, is Dressman’s native home, and he attended college at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi. While at Mississippi State University, Jordan studied geoscience and graduated with a degree in geoscience with a concentration in meteorology. Furthermore, while he was there, he also produced the Campus Connect forecast with his classmates.
However, while Dressman was young, he never wanted to become a meteorologist, as he was very scared of active weather. It was while in high school when Dressman gained interest in weather and made the decision to become a meteorologist. Furthermore, during Jordan’s leisure time, he enjoys running marathons, watching SEC football, and being outdoors as he loves new adventures.
