Jonathan Acosta is an American anchor working for WGRZ as a sports reporter and anchor. He joined the WRGZ news team in August 2023, after previously working for KFSM.
Acosta began his professional career after graduating from the University of Florida in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Telecommunication News at WRUF-ESPN Gainesville in January 2019. He worked as a reporter, developing multimedia web articles, editing audio from sound bites to be used in stories, and providing sports updates on the radio. Acosta was with the team for three years and five months. He then joined KVAL-TV as a sports producer for two years and two months.
Jonathan joined the KFSM in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he covered and produced everything sports before moving in to anchor and report role. In his free time, you will find him playing pick-up basketball and FIFA.
