John Langeler is an American two-time Emmy award-winning anchor who is currently working at KLAS-TV where he serves as the morning news anchor. He joined the 8 News Now team in March 2017, as a multi-media journalist.
Princeton, New Jersey is his native home and he attended high school in Las Vegas. In 1998, he joined Ithaca College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2002. Prior to joining the KLAS-TV team, he worked at KING 5 from August 2012 to February 2017 and while he was at the station, he served as a general assignment reporter and fill-in Anchor. He has also worked at FOX 5 in Greater San Diego from November 2010 to July 2012 as a generally assigned reporter.
In addition, he worked at KREM 2 in Spokane, Washington where he served as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor. Furthermore, he has worked at Morgan Murphy Media/ KXLY from June 2006 to November 2008 as a weekend anchor and generally assigned reporter. from October 2002 to June 2006, he worked at KPAX-TV in Missoula, Montana as a general assignment reporter, fill-in anchor, and sports anchor.
