John Brown Biography
John Brown is an American anchor working for FOX 35 as an evening anchor. He joined the FOX 35 news team in July 2021, after previously working for KTVI.
From 2009 to 2016, Brown served as the co-anchor of Good Day Orlando alongside Amy Kaufeldt on FOX 35. While he worked alongside Amy Kaufeldt, they were both named to a number of “Best Of Orlando” lists. He worked at KTVI-TV/FOX 2 in St. Louis as an anchor and reporter before later relocating back to Central Florida in 2021. In addition, John was named by the Missouri Broadcasters Association as the Best Large Market News Anchor in 2020.
Missouri is Brown’s native home and he attended Central Methodist University where he earned a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. In 1994, John was ready to start medical school, however, he decided to follow his passion for news. In addition, Brown started working for KSPR-TV in Springfield, Missouri in 1999. While he worked at KSPR-TV, he was named as the morning show anchor of a start-up newscast called The Morning Scoop. Later in 2003, he got promoted to the evening news anchor a position he held for one year.
Furthermore, John worked at KSPR for 5 years and later secured a job at the nationally syndicated TV show The Daily Buzz in Olando. In 2009, he served as an anchor and reporter at KTVI and during that time, he served as the host of a talk radio show on KTRS-AM called John Brown’s Mindset. aside from being a television journalist, John is also a public speaker, radio talk show host, author, and inventor. During his free time, she enjoys golfing, running as he has competed in dozens of marathons and half-marathons, and studying history.
