Her journalism career started in Eugene, Oregon where she worked for a period of two years as an anchor and reporter. Later on, she relocated to Fresno, California where she worked for a period of 4 years as a morning anchor. In addition, while she was there, she reported on a number of wildfires and specialized in health and technology stories.
Los Angeles is her native home and in 2009, she joined the University of Southern California where she graduated with a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism. She also attended California State University where she graduated in 2008, with a bachelor of arts in communications and political science.
