Jessica Almenäs is a Swedish actress, reporter, basketball player and television presenter working for KANAL 5 as a presenter for the horse racing show Vinnare V75 and the celebrity dancing show Let’s Dance. She joined the KANAL 5 news team in November 2016, after previously working for TV-4 Gruppen.
Almenäs studied science in media at Jönköping University. She is recognized as an actress, having appeared in Rachel och Jossan: Utan filter (2015), Lust (2022), and Helt perfekt (2018). Furthermore, she is a former basketball player and has played at the elite level for Brahe Basket. In 2002, she relocated to New York City and commenced her career as a clinical psychologist. Swiftly earning a reputation as a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist, she became well-regarded in her field. Additionally, she took on a role as an educator, teaching classes at a local university and becoming a popular lecturer.
She achieved the first runner-up position in Miss Sweden 1998, subsequently representing her country in the Miss World pageant that same year.
