Jessica Albert is an American reporter working for WJZ-TV as a multimedia journalist. She joined the WJZ-TV team in September 2021, after previously working for Fox 35 Orlando.
Albert was brought up about 60 miles away from Baltimore in Northern Virginia. She attended James Madison University where she earned a major in Media Arts and Design with a focus in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. In addition, Jessica interned at WHSV – TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she worked for almost 1 and a half years.
Jessica later relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina where she worked at WCTI TV 12 and FOX 8/14. While she was there, she served as a multimedia journalist produced the weekend newscasts, and was a fill-in anchor. In addition, Albert worked for WCTI TV for 2 years and later shifted to Scranton, Pennsylvania Area. While in Scranton Jessica worked for WNEP-TV 16 as a reporter for 2 years. Not long ago, Albert worked in Orlando, Florida at Fox 35 where she served as a morning reporter.
Furthermore, while she worked for Fox 35, she covered everything from breaking news to state headlines to stories about theme parks. She loves reporting and her job enables her to experience new people and places on a daily basis. In addition, during Jessica’s leisure time, she enjoys trying out new foods, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and taking a group fitness class.
