Jeremy Reiner Biography
Jeremy Reiner is an American meteorologist who is currently working at 7NEWS where he served as the chief meteorologist a position he took up in February 2016. He joined the 7News team in May 2006, as a meteorologist.
Berkshires is his native home and he has always been fascinated with the New England climate. In 1989, he attended Lyndon State College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 1993. After briefly residing in Minnesota and Maine, he settled in Charlotte, North Carolina where he worked at WSOC-TV where he served as a meteorologist for November 1999, to May 2006. In addition, the American Meteorological Society gave him the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal in 2005, thus making him the first meteorologist in the Charlotte television market to receive this seal.
He has also worked at KAAL-TV where he served as a chief meteorologist for three years. Later, he joined the WGME-TV weather team as a broadcast meteorologist and worked at the station for two years. During his leisure time, he enjoys learning to play guitar, hitting golf balls all over New England, and spending ample time with his family.
