Rauch’s love for sports began in Newark, Ohio, where he grew up playing soccer, baseball, golf, and basketball. He earned a Bachelor’s in Media Communications and Spanish from Asbury UniversityAsbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. Prior to joining FOX19, Jeremy served as a sports anchor and reporter at WICS/WICD in Springfield/Champaign, WHIZ in Zanesville, and WDNN in North Georgia.
Over his years as a sports personality, Jeremy has covered numerous highlights including the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where he watched Michael Phelps swim for his Olympic record eighth gold medal live and Team USA Basketball win gold. He also covered Ohio State football in 2009 and was present when Jim Tressel announced his knowledge of “Tattoo Gate”, which eventually led to his resignation in 2011. Moreover, Jeremy also worked as a play-by-play for the number one high school basketball team in Ohio and reported on the Big Ten Basketball tournament, the PGA Memorial Tournament
