Jennifer Meckles is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at 9NEWS. She joined the 9NEWS team in February 2018. Prior to joining 9NEWS, she worked at KSDK in St. Louis, Missouri where she worked for over three years.

While she worked at KSDK in St. Louis, Missouri, she covered protests and the unrest in Ferguson, entire communities underwater and the impact of the deadly heroin epidemic, and major floods that left interstates. In addition, she served as a weekend anchor and assisted in building the Storytellers team which celebrated the positive stories and heritage of St. Louis.
She was brought up nearby in the Illinois suburbs. Meckles attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism where she graduated proudly. Furthermore, while she was in college, she also worked at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. While she was at the station, she did everything from; answering phones, editing videos, and even learning how to run a live truck.
