While attending the University of Missouri, where she worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer for the school’s owned NBC affiliate KOMU 8 News, Jenna’s passion for journalism blossomed. Before she joined KWGN, she worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer at KKTV 11 News in Colorado Springs, where Jenna focused on consumer stories and wrote a weekly ‘Voice of the Consumer’ column for the local newspaper, The Gazette. She earned a regional Edward R. Murrow award for Best Documentary, for co-producing an hour-long documentary on the impact of COVID-19 on the hospital systems and people living in southern Colorado.
Prior to relocating to Colorado, Jenna worked for WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin, as the Rock County Reporter, based in Janesville. There, she covered everything from Badger football and basketball games to snow and ice storms. Jenna even had the opportunity to travel to Miami with the Wisconsin football team where they won the Orange Bowl. During her spare time, Jenna visits the library to check out more books than she has time to read and spends time with her dog, Ollie.
