Jenna Meissner is an American traffic anchor working for PHL17 as a multimedia journalist and traffic anchor on the 5 am to 9 am newscast. She joined the PHL17 news team in May 2015.
When Meissner joined the PHL17 morning team, she served as an intern, and not long after she became an assistant producer before later becoming a morning traffic anchor. Media, Pennsylvania is Jenna’s native home and she attended highschool at the Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova where she graduated proudly. In addition, Jenna later attended Temple University where she studied at its Lew Klein College of Media & Communication and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism with a specialization in broadcast.
Furthermore, while Meissner was at Temple University, she earned several broadcast awards. She was also inducted into the National Journalism Honors Society, Kappa Tau Alpha. In addition to serving as a morning traffic anchor, she worked behind the scenes as a producer, writer of the morning broadcast, and editor of visuals and audio. During Meissner’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her growing family and exploring in Philadelphia.
