Jeff Ray Biography
Jeff Ray is an American meteorologist and science reporter who is currently working at KTVT. He joined the CBS11 and TXA 21 news team in December 2010.
Previously, he worked at WKRN-TV in Nashville where he served as a morning meteorologist for a period of eleven years. Additionally, he has also worked at KSHB-TV in Kansas City, Missouri where he was the senior meteorologist. Later on, he worked at stations in Fort Pierce, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jefferson City, Missouri.
Lubbock is his birth home but while he was brought up, he would spend most of his time in Tennessee. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with an undergraduate degree. Later on, he joined the University of Florida and Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast meteorology. In addition, he also attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he graduated with a master’s degree in science education. During his leisure time, he enjoys woodworking, cooking with his wife, and gardening.
