Jeff Ehling Career
Statenville, Georgia is his native home and this is also where he started his reporting career in 1986. He worked for a period of three years at WVGA which is an ABC Affiliate in Valdosta, Georgia. Later on, he relocated to Macon, Georgia where he worked at WMGT which is an NBC affiliate.
Furthermore, he secured a job at CTV, in Tallahassee, Florida in 1990. While he worked as the Bureau Chief in Valdosta where he served as a reporter. Additionally, he was later promoted to serving as a weekend anchor while working at WCTV.
In addition, his wife secured a job in Houston in December 1999 thus they relocated to Texas. After a period of one month, he joined KTRK as a morning reporter. While working at KTRK, he has covered hurricanes, Texas troops guarding the prisoners at Guantanamo, Cuba, and Operation Iraqi Freedom from Iraq and Kuwait.
