Jayme King is an American meteorologist working for FOX 35 as the chief meteorologist. He can be seen during the morning on Good Day Orlando airing on weekdays from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
South Florida is where King was born and brought up. He attended Plantation High School in Broward County where he earned a high school diploma. Later on, he joined the University of North Florida in Jacksonville where he earned a degree in communications in 1998. In addition, he also earned a certificate at Mississippi State University in Broadcast Meteorology, and the National Weather Association’s seal of approval.
Prior to returning to his native home in Florida, Jayme worked in television stations in Savannah, Georgia; Rockford, Illinois; and WOFL’s sister station KSAZ in Phoenix. He is a multi-generational Floridian thus the ocean is a huge part of his life and he is an avid boater and fisherman. Whenever King is not on the boat, he can be found surfing in Central Florida’s best waves.
