She owns an online clothing boutique known as AmourJayda.  In addition, Jayda is also well known for her on-and-off relationship with the famous rapper Lil Baby. 

Chaves graduated with a diploma from Windsor Forest High School, in May 2015. Later on, she enrolled at the University of Georgia, where she pursued her undergraduate degree. In 2017, she left her parent’s home and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she opened up a small outlet and started selling hair products. Her business venture assisted her to learn about customer management and business dealings. She shut down the business after a few months as she realized she did not have the ability to deliver the quality her customers needed.

In addition, she later opened a fashion line known as Waydamin, and since its inception, the company has often sold out its line of; neutral-colored leggings, cutout tops, turtlenecks, and flared trousers. She is also looking forward to expanding her clothing line by adding swimsuits to her product range her company whose headquarters is in a business complex in Atlanta, Georgia. Furthermore, part of Jayda’s success is attributed to the millions of followers on her social media profiles, particularly on Instagram where she had over 7 million followers.
