Janelle Wang is an American three-time Emmy Award-Winning anchor and reporter working for KNTV in the San Fransisco Bay Area. She anchors the 5 p.m. news on weeknights with co-anchor Raj Mathai and also reports during the 6 p.m newscast. She joined the KNTV news team in July 2011, after previously working for KGO-TV.

Prior to joining the NBC working and joining NBC, Wang was reporting and anchoring for ABC7 in San Fransisco where she and Spencer Christian co-hosted The View From The Bay which starred a live studio audience and aired on weekdays in its four-year run. Murrow Award for Continuing Coverage. Wang’s appeal and popularity to the public landed her a co-hosting spot with Regis Philbin in Live with Regis and Kelly. Wang worked for FOX 12 in Oregon from October 2000 to January 2003 as an anchor and a reporter. She began her career as a reporter working for KGW TV from May 1998- September 2000 in Portland, Oregon.
