Jake Peavy is an American award-winning analyst working for MLB Network as an on-air analyst alongside Hunter Pence. He joined the MLB Network in 2022, after previously working for San Francisco Giants.
Peavy is a two-time World Series champion and 2007 National League Cy Young Award winner. He can be seen on MLB Network’s flagship studio show, MLB Tonight, which has received an Emmy Award. From 2002 to 2009, Peavy was a member of the San Diego Padres. He later played for the Chicago White Sox from 2009 to 2013, the Boston Red Sox from 2013 to 2014, and the San Francisco Giants from 2014 to 2016. 2007 saw Peavy lead the National League in ERA (2.27), and in 2005, 2007, and 2012, he was named an All-Star. Peavy recorded NL-best strikeouts (240), wins (19), and FIP (2.84) during his Cy Young campaign in 2007. Peavy played for the 2013 Red Sox and 2014 Giants, where he appeared in four Postseasons and won two consecutive World Series.
