Ingrid Harbaugh is an American stay-at-home mom popularly known as the wife of John Harbaugh, who is the famous American head coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL).
Harbaugh went to Western Michigan University. Her husband, John Harbaugh, is a seasoned American football coach who has overseen various teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles, the Western Michigan Broncos football team, and several others. Presently, he holds the position of head coach for the Baltimore Ravens and is widely acknowledged as one of the premier coaches in the NFL. John Harbaugh’s coaching career has been notably successful. He embarked on this journey in 1984, starting as a graduate assistant for the Western Michigan Broncos football team. Over the years, he continued to enhance his coaching expertise. In 1999, he joined the Philadelphia Eagles as their special teams coach.
His responsibilities expanded when he was promoted to assistant head coach in 2005 and later became their defensive backs coach in 2007. Despite serving the Philadelphia Eagles admirably for nine years, He was never offered a permanent head coach position. Consequently, he made the move to the Baltimore Ravens in 2008. Here, he has steered the Ravens through multiple playoff appearances, achieving victory in Super Bowl XLVII. In 2022, he solidified his commitment to the Ravens by signing a contract extension and remains an integral part of the team. On March 29, 2022, he inked a three-year extension with the Ravens, extending his tenure through the 2025 season.
A notable milestone occurred on December 11, 2022, as it marked the 32nd matchup between Harbaugh and Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, surpassing the duo of Curly Lambeau and Steve Owen for the second-most head-to-head matchups between head coaches in NFL history (the current record is held by Lambeau and George Halas with 49). The Ravens concluded the season with a 10–7 record, securing a Wild Card berth. However, the Ravens were eliminated in the Wild Card Round by the Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 24–17.
