Ida Siegal is an American reporter working for NBC 4 as a general assignment reporter and breaking news reporter. She is seen on weekdays at 4 pm and on Sundays at 6 pm. In addition, Ida Siegal joined the NBC New York team in 2003.
Ida has worked in the Tri-State area for the better part of her career and she has told major stories in the state. Over the years, she has covered heartbreaking fires and accidents, braved hurricanes and blizzards, and covered many feature stories. Ida was part of the Emmy award-winning team that covered the Superstorm Sandy in 2012. In addition, Siegal also covered the fatal Metro-North Crash in Riverdale, the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and the 2016 presidential election.

Furthermore, while Siegal attended Syracuse University, she resided in Hong Kong where she interned at NBC Asia.
