Hannah Storm is an American sports anchor who is currently working at ESPN. She served as the Sunday to Monday anchor of SportsCenter alongside Jay Harris on ESPN. In addition, she joined the ESPN news team in 2008. She also serves as the anchor on Amazon Thursday Night Football.

Furthermore, apart from anchoring, she has also co-hosted a number of the network’s marquee events including the Rose Parade on ABC, the NCAA College Football Playoff National Championship, the Super Bow, Veteran’s Day, the New York Marathon, the NBA Finals, the U.S. Open, and Wimbledon.

In addition, she has also conducted sit-down interviews with many prominent figures in the sports world from the MLB, NASCAR, NFL, NBA, college football, and many other sports both in prime-time specials and on SportsCenter. She was the first female host of CNN Sports Tonight and handled premier events during her time at CNN (1989-1992) and NBC Sports (2002-2007). Furthermore, she was the first woman in American television history to solo host a broadcast network’s sports series when she hosted NBC’s Major League Baseball coverage, including three World Series.

In addition, she worked at CBS News from 2002 to 2007 where she served as the host of The Early Show, and during that time, she covered many major news events from the Iraqi War and Hurricane Katrina to the 2004 Presidential election. Furthermore, she also hosted “48 Hours” which is a CBS award-winning news magazine prior to also serving as the co-host of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

In 2008, she created Brainstormin’ Productions and was privileged to direct a number of projects for ESPN and espnW including; the SEC Network/ESPN/ABC; Love & Payne, the inaugural espnW “Nine for IX” series short film; Swoopes, Moving the Goal, for espnW’s “HERoics” series, part of the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup coverage,  and  Unmatched, for ESPN’s Peabody Award-winning “30 for 30” film series; Shaq & Dale.

For her outstanding work as a journalist, she has earned the 2012 Gracie Award® for Outstanding Individual Achievement – Producer–Entertainment for the video “Iraq Vet takes on Mount Kilimanjaro, the 2013 Gracie Award® for Outstanding Web Site – Information/Entertainment for the Payge McMahon story prior to also being a beneficiary of the Gracie Award® for Outstanding Producer-News/Non-fiction for Unmatched in 2011.

Furthermore, she has also been awarded the Lifetime Excellence in Sports Communication Award in 2017 from The Marist College Center for Sports Communication. She has also been awarded by the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards for “Danica” with two gold awards. In addition, for her work through Brainstormin’ Productions, she received the Gracie, Awards.

Furthermore, she founded a Foundation that aimed at raising provide educational information, raising awareness, and funding treatment for vascular malformations. So far, her foundation has helped children from the United States, China, the Republic of Georgia, and Slovenia receive surgery funding. She attended the University of Notre Dame where she graduated proudly.
