Hannah Kliger Biography
Hannah Kliger is an American reporter working for CBS2, as a reporter covering Brooklyn. She joined the CBS2 news teamin May 2022, after previously working for News 12 Brooklyn.
New York is Kliger’s native home and she was born in Coney Island. Her family is of a Soviet dissidents from Russia, and they fled persecution and censorship. From a young age, Hannah had made up her mind on becoming a journalist and her childhood days were spent watching news on the television, as she watched a number of the biggest stories such as 9/11. In addition, Kliger is eloquent in Rusian speaking. She attended New York University where she graduated with a major in Broadcast Journalism and another in Political Science.
Over the years, Hannah has received a number of awards for her investigative journalism. She received an award for covering the problems plaguing Brooklynites, housing rental scams, and hate crimes. In addition, while she was 16 years old, she became a national champion in competitive ballroom dance. During her spare time, she enjoys skiing, and gardening.
