Hannah Fink Biography
Hannah Fink is an American meteorologist working at FOX 10 where she serves as a weekday and weekend meteorologist. She became a full member of the FOX10 StormTracker Team in May 2025.
Hannah Fink Career
Fink started working at FOX 10 while she was still e completing her degree and worked part-time. Upon having graduated from the University of South Alabama, she became a fultime member. Hannahgraduated with a degree in professional meteorology with minors in mathematics and journalism. In addition, she studied under a passionate and experienced faculty.
Hannah was born and brought up in Wonder Lake, a small town in Northern Illinois just north of Chicago. she gained intrest in weather from an early age and most especialy, she loved tornadoes. As a result of being brought up in the Midwest, she was always alert for incoming storms. In 2025, Fink witnessed the devastating Rochelle, Illinois tornado, this experience solidified her passion for meteorology. In addition, since she relocated to the Gulf Coast, she has also gained intrest in other weather conditions such as tropical weather. Furthermore, Hannah is happy to be living near the beach and far away form the snowy wintrs.
Furthermore, while Hannah was a student at the University of South Alabama, she was very active. Fink worked in the campus’s AtmosCenter studio in addition to assisting with h recruiting efforts for the meteorology department. More to that, she also played an important role in organizing the university’s annual Southeast Coastal and Atmospheric Processes Symposium (SeCAPS).
She was also the Lead MESONET Technician under Dr. Sytske Kimball. On her role, she ensured the functionality of 26 weather stations across the Gulf Coast region. In addition, Hannah was; Miss Pawla, the University of South Alabama’s mascot, cheering on the Jaguars at sporting events for three years, and participated in parades. In addition, she was president of the Meteorology Club and also led the South Alabama Diamond Girls, supporting the USA Baseball team across many seasons.
Furthermore, during her down time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and exploring everything the Gulf Coast has to offer.
