Benson is a proud graduate of Ridgewood High School, where he broadcasted sports on local television. Benson worked for Northwestern University’s campus radio station, WNUR, where he hosted a political talk program and televised sporting events while pursuing his bachelor’s degree. In addition, he worked as a summer intern for Fox News for two summers, mostly with Hannity & Colmes, before helping the network cover the Republican National Convention in 2004.
