Punjab, India is her birth home and she relocated with her family to the United States when she was 7 years old. She attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she earned a Journalism degree. After she graduated, she was able to secure her first job in her hometown of Nashville before later working in Mississippi, Atlanta, and Washington, DC. In addition, after spending over 10 years in the nation’s capital, she relocated back to Atlanta so as to be close to her family.
