She started her journalism career in 1997, in Southwest Florida and she has previously worked at WINK-TV in Fort Myers where she served as a reporter. In addition, after working at WINK-TV for 2 years, she returned home to work for KOVR-TV in Stockton, California where she served as a bureau reporter. Furthermore, she worked at KOVR for 6 years and while she was at the station, she covered a number of the biggest stories to hit the Central Valley.
