The 38-year-old Republican Congressman is under investigation to determine if he paid for the girl’s travels with him across states, potentially violating federal sex trafficking laws.
Gaetz, 38, has vehemently denied the allegations and stated that he is cooperating with the FBI. He insists that the accusations are part of an extortion attempt against him.
