Gianna Franco is an American Emmy award-winning traffic anchor and reporter who is currently working at KPIX-TV. In addition, she joined the KPIX-TV team in 2008 and currently serves as the weekday traffic anchor from 4:30 am to 7 am.
When she joined the KPIX team, she began as a fill-in traffic anchor and producer. Furthermore, she has spent time as a news, traffic, and sports anchor on a number of radio stations in the Bay Area. Some of these stations include KNBR and KCBS and not long ago she serves as the host and anchor talking sports and scores on 95.7 The Game.
San Diego is her native home and she love broadcasting while she was in high school when she anchored a half-hour news broadcast on the local NBC affiliate. Later on, she was privileged to receive a college scholarship. Furthermore, in her career as a journalist, she has worked for ABC in San Diego, Access Hollywood in Los Angeles, and FOX in Phoenix.
Furthermore, she has worked for FOX Sports as a National Update Anchor. During her leisure time, she enjoys practicing Spanish with her mom, Irma, live music, reading, and travel, she also enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons.
