Gaynor Hall is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter working for WGN-TV as a general assignment reporter for the WGN Evening News and the WGN News at Nine. She joined WGN-TV in April 2008, as a freelance reporter.
Chicago is Hall’s native home and she attended Whitney Young Magnet High School where she graduated proudly. Later on, she joined Syracuse University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and African American Studies. In addition, Gaynor began her television career at WMGT in Macon, Georgia where she served as a morning anchor and producer. In April 2006, she relocated back to Chicago where she joined WGN-TV’s sister station, CLTV and served as an anchor and reporter.
