Ubels has served as a News reporter at Global News since May 2018. She graduated from the British Colombia Institute of Technology, with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism and Communications in 2016. She commenced her professional broadcasting career at AM730 and subsequently transitioned to CKNW a year later. Driven by a passion for the environment and animal welfare, she actively supports organizations such as the BC SPCA and the Stanley Park Ecology Society, particularly the heron nest program, which she symbolically adopted in honor of her late father, Geoff.
