Erin Hassanzadeh is an American two-time Emmy Award-winning host working for WCCO-TV as the co-host of “The 4” alongside Jeff Wagner, airing on weekday evenings. She joined the WCCO-TV team in 2019.
Prior to being a reporter, Hassanzadeh spent two years in Seoul, South Korea while on a Fulbright grant. While Erin was in Seoul, South Korea, she lived with a host family, worked with North Korean defectors, and traveled throughout Asia. A number of her stops include; Cambodia, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, and Cambodia. In addition, she loves Korean food, and she has resided in Italy and enjoys exploring new places, hiking, and learning from new people.
Furthermore, Erin attended Jefferson High School in Bloomington where she graduated proudly. Later on, she joined Drake University where she also graduated proudly. Prior to joining WCCO-TV, Hassanzadeh worked at KETV and at KCCI. In addition, Erin’s best part of working at WCCO was the way photojournalists and reporters showed support to each other.
